Michael was born in Utica, New York and has been playing piano since he was 9 years old. After just 2 years of practice, he was accepted into the Academy of Music, now known as the Academy of Performing and Creative Arts in Clinton, New York.

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music
Michael's passion for playing piano began during his piano studies in Clinton. It was during this time that he enrolled with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) located in Bedford Square, London. After completing numerous exams, Michael earned a Diploma Degree in Piano Performance from ABRSM and holds an additional degree in Performance from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York.

Debut Album: “Chopin After Midnight”
In 2009, Michael moved to South Florida and signed with a record label. His debut album, "Chopin After Midnight", earned a top 10 position on the Classical Billboard Chart, outranking Joshua Bell and Luciano Pavarotti. This album also featured Michael's first, original composition containing piano and orchestra. The song is titled "Carol in Db Major" in honor of his mother who passed away from cancer later that year.

2nd Album: “Reflection”
After completing "Carol", Michael grew homesick and was inspired to create an album of all original works called "Reflection". Each track is comprised of deep emotion and meaning as he remembers home and family. It is with heartfelt thanks and love that he dedicates this album to his father, mother and grandmother.

Symphony Performances
Michael has performed in the Clinton Symphony Orchestra and currently plays in the Utica Symphony, Utica Pops and accompanies multiple school events as well as NYSSMA students across Central NY.

He currently has 40+ students in the Upstate New York region traveling to In-Home students as far as Baldwinsville, East Syracuse, Jamesville, Cazenovia, Fabius, Canastota, Clinton, New Hartford and Utica.
