Michael Battle has been a full time piano instructor for 10 years. He conveniently travels to student's homes for lessons and also has a teaching studio in New Hartford. He currently has 40+ students in the Upstate New York region traveling to In-Home students as far as Baldwinsville, East Syracuse, Jamesville, Cazenovia, Fabius, Canastota, Clinton, New Hartford and Utica.

Piano Instruction
Through his many years of performing and being a recording artist, he specializes in passing along his knowledge of music theory, sight reading, technical finger exercises and composition. From South Florida to New York, he has taught students of all ages and levels. Michael is NYSSMA and ABRSM affiliated enrolling only his select students into one or both examinations.
Music Theory
Michael teaches a rigid educational curriculum which includes focus on sight reading, speed reading, technique, music theory and ear training. "I teach my students how to be well rounded musicians with the thought that they may grow up to be a Music Teacher or Piano Performer and it is my job to get them there with the correct private education. I begin this mindset right from the start of each new student, even at the age of 6. In short, I offer a curriculum that prepares all of my students to be a Music Major in College.

Competitions & Scholarships Available
Select students will be chosen to compete in a Advanced Piano and Instrumental Competition. Senior students who wish to pursue a College Major in Piano Performance are eligible to enroll in a Senior Scholarship Competition.
